Interested in the music industry? Then Live Vision’s internship program is a great way to gain exposure. Live Vision’s internship position is designed to provide interested people with hands-on experience in the entertainment industry. As today’s students may be tomorrow’s leaders, our desire is to provide these individuals with a meaningful and educational experience.
Internships are unpaid, for self-gain, interest, knowledge and extra incentives only. Interns must have high school education, have competent computer skills and be able to lend a hand PART-TIME (10 hrs a week).
Interns must provide a cover letter verifying their education and past work experience, with a one page essay describing their passion, desire and want to work in the music industry.
We offer internships in various departments including: Marketing, Publicity, Advertising, Radio Promotions, A&R, New Media, Sales, Production, Creative, Soundtracks, Film & TV, Business Development, Licensing, Publishing, IT/IS, International, Business & Legal etc.
Candidates should possess exceptional computer, written and verbal communication skills. Interns must be available to interview and work in the Vancouver area.
Responsibilities:
- Plan development projects for artists
- Research/ Data mine
- Create, organize and operate various social media mediums
- Develop venture capital sources for shows, tours and artists
- Develop marketing strategies
- Promote, market, co-ordinate large events/shows
- Create/ review artist biographies
- Create/ design artist related graphics
- Show bookings
Skills:
- Works well under pressure
- Detailed oriented
- Knowledge of community and industry partners
- Excellent written communication
- Picture/ video editing capability
