Jason Bruce - Grant Writer
Jason Bruce joins Live Vision with a substantial and varied career background, including serving as Chairman of a group of musicians that travels to schools doing workshops with children; working as a freelance sports writer; and serving as a hype man for World-famous hip hop artist Classified.
His experience includes working for consulting firms on a volunteer basis to tighten up his grant writing. Bruce’s vast writing experience includes writing consulting reports, consulting letters, investment transaction summaries, business plans, and grants for both public and private organizations (mostly music associated).
Bruce, also known as J-Bru, began writing grants out of necessity.
“It is hard being a musician in Canada, especially for hip hop artists. So I took it upon myself to start writing grants to receive funding for projects I was working on.”
As of July 2011, Jason has an eighty-percent success rate for grants, with over $73,000 awarded in total.
Bruce will work with Live Vision developing and writing grants for musicians and consulting firms.
