Known for her liberating social ideas and aggressive work technique, Colette Chand has always been a force to be recognized and truly respected in the professional world. Colette Chand, is not just a powerful idol on the 1’s & 2’s, but with the help of her sibling (Jenno Chand) the two have established the Promotional / Publicist conglomerate, GoGetters Entertainment.
With GoGetters Entertainment striving to provide the crème de la crème of parties for the Vancouver nightlife scene, and containing the most explosive DJ database any PR and Management company could ask for. The last 5 years belonged to the sisters that both developed a taste for the Toronto way of handling business. Single handily developing a reputable image for themselves in the Greater Vancouver Area, Gogetters was able to run alongside the best of them, while breaking bread with the rest of them.
Although GoGetters Entertainment over the years has been Ms. Chand’s main focus, Colette Chand has also worked under the eyes of some of Universal Records leading figures such as Sean Lala, and David “Click” Cox. Always wanting, working and pushing for more, Colette found herself in the bright lights of Toronto, while being mentored by one of Canada’s pioneers; DJ Starting from Scratch.
Persistent in wanting to set standards as a female business owner and turn-table titan, Colette would find herself at times fighting both tooth and nail; competing against her fellow man for any and all local gigs around Vancouver’s nightclubs. Deciding to capture the moment for themselves, Gogetters entertainment started to step into gear by delivering some of the most organized and publicized parties the Greater Vancouver Area has encountered.
Anticipating the new era of Hip-Hop and musical talent to take place, Colette Chand started once again craving and acquiring the taste of success. Realizing there was a rise in talent, but a huge decrease on the education side of the music business, Ms. Chand, Garrett VanDusen, Aaron Bhawan, and Jamie Smith took it upon themselves to form the complete source for any indie artist trying to connect the dots to success.
Colette Chand, known for carrying her own case-load and at times others, is definitely the idea candidate to manage /macro-manage most artists’ lifestyles. Her explosive demeanor when it comes to achieving the company, artists, deadlines and desires are a step above the rest.
